Just a couple of notes before I head out to rub myself publicly.

Al Franken has no chance. Sorry libbs but it is true. Far to many people have issues with someone moving to MN solely to run for the senate seat. His complete and total lack of experience just is not helpful. EVERY TV AD HE RUNS is the exact same thing....Norm Coleman is in bed with "BIG OIL". Every one. Everything he says is Norm...big oil. I think Minnesotans are smart enough to realize that "Big Oil" is not why we are paying $3.50 to $4.00 a gallon for gas. Maybe it has something to do with the 6 billion dollar tax hike passed by your party Al. 28 cents per gallon tax in MN. Exxon makes 7 cents per gallon. Maybe the term he should be using is Big Government.
Go back to New York Al. You do not know Minnesota. You do not represent Minnesota. YOUR NOT A MINNESOTAN. You left as soon as you could to live in New York. Go back home jerkwad.

I try not to write about myself here all that often because....well just because.
Update
-Fireworks season is over and meh. I'm getting bored with it.

- My new project is coming together. It is a monster. I was hoping to invest X amount. It would appear the X times about 4 will get me what I want.

i recommend wizards of winter. This was his first attempt.

-I am still the campaign manager for Felix although my busy life leaves me very little time to manage.

- Apparently I am joining my neighborhood action group

- I havent lost any more weight, but I havent gained any either. 180 down from 205 to 210

- I managed to get tennis elbow and tear my shoulder in both front and back this year. Last year the knee, this year the arm. I need to check my warranty. My right hand can barely pick up a cup of coffee. This is getting annoying.

- I bought a new car. I wanted one. Ive wanted one for years. I get dirty looks and even got in an argument with a homeless man while driving it.

- Silvio was born in April and is quite possibly the perfect baby. Hardly ever cries and is constantly smiling. He already scoots around and tries to stand

-Vincent is becoming a wonderful boy

-Cecilia will kill you all

-Bryanna is a teenager. She is a world of help to us with everything, but alas....a teenager. Phone attached to head, bad music, boys.........sigh

- I am drinking more and more wine

- Vikings football started 1:44 ago and I am happy

- recently I have "gotten into it" with many people I consider friends. Looks like I will be happy to trim down the Christmas card list this year as I have no plans on debating with people and sparing their feelings anymore. Want to step up? You better do your homework and come in with more than "well thats how I feel".

- Halftime is over....go away

Why does the liberal lead congress have a 9% approval rating?
Nancy Pelosi AGAIN refuses to even talk about America becoming energy independent. Her BLATANT refusal to even open the floor for discussion and then running away on a 5 week book tour shows exactly what the liberals in congress are willing to do about gas being 4 bucks a gallon. They are willing to do NOTHING. Pelosi is heading out to a nationwide book tour so that she can shamelessly promote her 9% approval rating. A massive failure under any measurement.

Nancy refused to allow a vote to happen on the floor to explore. We live in a constitutional representative system and the people who dare call themselves liberal won't even allow a vote?
Keep cheering for change out there. Fascism a is change.

The Evil republicans tried in vain to get congress to actually address gas and do something about it BEFORE congress breaks for 5 weeks. The democrats, lead by CZAR Pelosi walked out leaving Americans wondering why in Gods name these people are doing NOTHING.

I have watched the Democrats get gleeful as gas hits 4 bucks a gallon and then try to blame speculation. Never mind that oil companies make 7 cents a gallon while state and federal government make over 50. These raging hypocrites need to get the boot completely up their snobby asses. These people are idiots and fools who understand nothing if it isnt a government controlled monopoly. Keep blaming oil companies out there while the MN congress passed a 28 cent per gallon tax hike this year. Dont bother researching how much oil companies have lost in previous years. Keep cheering for light rail that services less than 5% of our population. Dont forget that light rail is powered by coal either as you scream global warming.

Larry Pogemiller your time is up. Its time for serious people to actually HELP the people they represent by getting the government OUT of their lives.
We dont need you.
We dont want you.
"I think it's simplistic and naive to say people can spend their money better than the government. "
" I think the notion that everybody can individually spend their money better than government I just think is trite, wrongheaded and anti-democratic."

Larry Pogemiller, MN Senate majority leader

Pack your office Larry. Someone new is moving in.

2 MICHELLES, 2 AMERICAS & SHAME vs. PRIDE

By Michelle Malkin, Columnist

Like Michelle Obama, I am a 'woman of color.' Like Michelle Obama, I am a working mother of two young children. Like Michelle Obama, I am a member of the 13th generation of Americans born since the founding of our great nation.

Unlike Michelle Obama, I can't keep track of the number of times I've been proud - really proud - of my country since I was born and privileged to live in it. At a recent speech in Milwaukee on behalf of her husband's Democratic presidential campaign, Mrs. Obama remarked, 'For the first time in my adult life time, I am really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.'

Mrs. Obama's statement was met with warm applause from other Barack supporters who have also apparently been devoid of pride in their country during their adult lifetimes. Or maybe it was just a Pavlovian response to the word 'change.' What a sad, empty, narcissistic, ungrateful, unthinking lot!

I'm just seven years younger than Ms. Obama. We've grown up and lived in the same era. And yet, her self-absorbed attitude is completely foreign to me. What planet is she living on? Since when was now the only time the American people have ever been 'hungry for change'?

Michelle, Barack is not the center of the universe, he is just another half-black man who has been AFFILIATED with the wrong people, namely a so-called preacher who not only takes The Lord's Name in Vain, he also has been closely associated with muslims who wants to destroy our Christian heritage. Newsflash: The Obamas did not invent 'change' any more than Hillary invented 'leadership' or John McCain invented 'straight talk',or Al Gore invented the Internet. We were both adults when the Berlin Wall fell, Michelle. THAT was earth-shattering change!!

We've lived through two decades' worth of peaceful, if contentious, election cycles under the rule of law, which have brought about 'change' and upheaval, both good and bad. We were adults through several launches of the space shuttle, in case you were snoozing.

And as adults, we've witnessed and benefited from dizzyingly rapid advances in technology, communications, science, and medicine pioneered by American entrepreneurs who yearned to change the world and succeeded. You want 'change'? Go ask the patients whose lives have been improved and extended by American pharmaceutical companies that have flourished under the best economic system in the world.

If American ingenuity, a robust constitutional republic, and the fall of communism don't do it for you, honey, then how about American heroism and sacrifice? How about every Memorial Day? Every Veterans Day? Every Independence Day? Every Medal of Honor ceremony? Has she never attended a welcome-home ceremony for the troops? For me, there's the thrill of the Blue Angels roaring over cloudless skies. And the somber awe felt amid the hallowed waters that surround the sunken U.S.S. Arizona at the Pearl Harbor memorial.

Every naturalization ceremony I've attended, where hundreds of new Americans raised their hands to swear an oath of allegiance to this land of liberty, has been a moment of pride for me. So have the awesome displays of American compassion at home and around the world. When millions of Americans rallied to help victims of the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia - including members of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group that sped from Hong Kong to assist survivors - my heart filled with pride. It did again when the citizens of Houston opened their arms to Hurricane Katrina victims and folks across the country rushed to their churches and offices of the Salvation Army and Red Cross to volunteer.

How about American resilience? Does that not make you proud, Michelle? Only a heart of stone could be unmoved by the strength, valor, and determination displayed in New York , Washington , D.C., and Shanksville , Pa. , on September 11, 2001.

I believe it was Michael Kinsley who quipped that a gaffe is when a politician tells the truth. In this case, it's what happens when an elite Democratic politician's wife says what a significant portion of the party's base really believes to be the truth: America is more a source of shame than pride.

Michelle Obama has achieved enormous professional success largely due to White people doing things for her and him. Helping her and Him in almost every step in their life. She shows her true feelings by hating White people. Her accomplishments can be attributed to White people for their gradualism through out her life. She needs to cease hating White people and thank them for much of what she has, political influence, and personal acclaim in America . Ivy League educated, she's been lauded by Essence magazine, By 'The Harvard 100' most influential alumni. She has had an amazingly blessed life. But, you wouldn't know it from her hatred of White people campaign rhetoric and her griping about her and her husband's student loans.

For years, we've heard liberals get offended at any challenge to their patriotism. And so they are again aggrieved and rising to explain away Mrs. Obama's remarks.

Lady Michelle and her defenders protest too much! She and He are where they are today because of what the White People have done for both of them. However, both have expressed their dislike for White people!

(Michelle Malkin is a newspaper columnist .)

Al Frankin has a new commercial out.
The commercial attacks former congress members for being able to get a job being a lobbyist after serving their terms. Besides that just being a dumb thought he then goes on to say "No wonder gas prices a so high with congress acting that way".
His advisers need to explain to his dumb ass that there is a DEMOCRAT congress and senate.
He just attacked his own party, albeit incorrectly, about high gas prices.

A friend recently asked me why I seemed more aggressive and attack motivated in my debates lately.
Its just this simple, while you may not completely agree with someone like Larry Pogemiller, you still are the one pulling the lever for him and his cronies on election day.
Why is that important?
Because at his town hall meeting held in NE this year he said this:
"I think it's simplistic and naive to say people can spend their money better than the government."

and he went on to include...

"The notion that everybody can individually spend their money better than government I, I just think is trite, wrongheaded and anti-democratic."

You may think you are a compassionate because you want to help everyone and spread sunshine and rainbows everywhere, but when it comes down to it, you are the one electing this fascist to govern our state and control how state government behaves.

I just watched a lady on TV, after making up "facts", proclaim that she thinks it is fine to tax the "super rich" at 90%.
this makes sense because the "super rich" didnt do anything to earn that money at all and the artist that cant sell his art deserves free medical, free food, free rent, free dental, and greatly discounted mass transit to get himself around. After all the artist didnt make a choice to pursue his art. It chose him.

Jul. 8th, 2008 @ 10:47 pm And then it hit me
I have been watching, as many have, the constant whining of protest groups wanting to be able to protest (see also public nuisance) the upcoming RNC in St Paul.
I am all for people being able to protest and express their opinions. These Yimm Ya's however are not in this for freedom of expression. They want to disrupt and cause general problems.
They are jerkwads.
Then I started looking for all the people that would be protesting the DNC in Colorado. Seriously, we have a democrat controlled congress with a 9% approval rating. The lowest in recorded history for ANY public office. Where are the protesters for this? Why are the Republicans not out there dancing around in the streets, banging drums, and being self rightous?
Then I realized that conservatives have jobs. (present company excluded)

My bad

Barcrack dumbomma explains his plans to raise taxes.

http://money.cnn.com/2008/06/27/news/economy/obama_wealthy_taxes/index.htm?postversion=2008062809

I seriously do not understand how anyone can feel like they are entitled to take someone elses income and spend it on what they want.
Every person in this country receives benefits from the government for their taxes paid in, however it is strange that the top payers get the least amount of services for their money.

I compare our taxation with a restraunt that serves you food and then bills you according to how much money you make. If allowed choice (the word that liberals only like when it comes to killing unborn children) not one person would go to this restraunt unless they didnt make shit for money.

Oh, and if you think buttcrack has a great plan for change you should really open a history book. His energy plan reads almost word for word with Jimmy Carters plan in 1977. We all know how well that worked.

Dumbocrats were trying to pass a bill today that would tax oil company profits.
The feel good mentality of these morons is enough to make someone puke.
Allow me to explain economics 101 to these retards making laws for our country.
When you tax business, business raises its price to cover the tax. IE: Consumers pay corporate taxes, not corporations.

Want to lower gas prices? Its really quite simple.
Tell the enviromental wacko's to go fuck themselves.

In the last 30 years the "big oil" companies have been prevented from building new refineries in America. Not one in the last 30 years. They have also been prevented from drilling in America. They have been prevented from exploring off shore.
If consumption go's up, but regulation prevents more supply then prices will increase.

Also, big oil makes, on average, 7 cents per gallon of gasoline sold. In contrast the federal government makes 18.4 cents per gallon and the state of Minnesota makes 28.5 cents per gallon. (with the recent 6.6 billion dollar tax hike)
So who really is making the consumers pay at the pump?

Before you even chime in, Cheveron spent 30 BILLION last year developing alternate energy sources.
